About us

As part of the COMPETITIV’eko project co-financed by the European Interreg-Poctefa funds, we have created the INNOVMEDICA Alliance, a center of excellence for medical devices and e-health. Companies, technological and training centers, clusters of the 3 European territories of Navarra, Euskadi and Basque Country-Nouvelle Aquitaine are part of this cross-border hub.

The 39 members cover the range of medical specialties.

All families in the value chain are integrated into the cross-border hub:

– electromedical devices

– medical imagery

– biomedical consumables

– orthopedic technique and rehabilitation

– in-vitro diagnostics

– e-health

The creation of the cluster was 65% co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Spain-France-Andorra Interreg V-A Program (POCTEFA 2014-2020).

Membership of the INNOVMEDICA Alliance cluster

Today, in addition to a grant from the Euroregion and to ensure the financing of the action plan, it has been decided to ask companies’ contribution.

We have created an ecosystem of innovation that allows us to develop new applications.

  • Traumatology
  • Internal medicine
  • Consumables

We have 6 hospital entities that act as innovation platforms to:

  • Identify internal needs to be communicated to the 39 members of INNOVMEDICA Alliance
  • To present to the main success stories of our members

The goal is to create a direct link between the needs and the solutions available or quickly implemented thanks to the complementarity of the profiles of our members.
The project is 65% co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Spain-France-Andorra Interreg V-A Program (POCTEFA 2014-2020).
